1973 Lambert:

Lambert made a bold attempt at making a very lightweight affordable bike in the early 1970's.  They designed almost all the parts on the bike including derailleurs, shifters, pedals, bar, hubs, stem...... including the cast aluminum "death fork".  The forks tended to crack and were replaced under warranty with steel forks.  This is an example of the earlier lugged version of the bike.  Later versions changed to fillet brazed frames and substituted some Suntour or Campagnolo pieces for some of the Lambert parts.
