1975 Raleigh DL-1:

I always admired these bikes for the look and the rod brakes.  They are just a great looking simple bike.  The rod brakes are pretty fascinating with all the rods and linkages.  These bikes remained largely unchanged for decades.  This particular one dates from 1975.

Handlebar assembly where you can see the one piece bar/stem combo and the rod brake levers.

Raleigh "Heron" chain ring and if you squint you can see chain stay mounted brake.
