1980 Schwinn King Sting:

This is one of the transition bikes between BMX bikes and mountain bikes.  The King Sting was offered in a single speed version, like this one, or a geared version.  Some of the parts on this bike such as the hubs and pedals are slightly newer mountain bike parts but would have been common upgrades back in the early 1980's as mountain bike parts became more readily available.

Nicely fillet brazed head tube

Welds are a little more crude back here.
