1990 Redline Forty Four:

Redline was one of the many manufacturers that jumped on the elevated chain stay band wagon.  The style was made popular by the Mountain Bike Action project bike that became the Yeti Ultimate.  This one features the mid-priced XCD components from Suntour with the poorly functioning X-press shifters.  The Clark-Kent designed Scott Unishock was added a couple of years later.  The Unishock featured a steel unicrown design which was simpler than the typical multi-piece crowns of the day.
