1991 Trek 8500:

Nice example of Treks bonded aluminum bikes.  The head, set and bottom bracket lugs are cast aluminum and then the top /down /seat tubes are bonded to the lugs.  This bike had the later Trek suspension fork added to it/  The forks were made by Showa, of Japan, for Trek and were only available for a couple of years.
