Back Home Up

1992 Brave Warrior:

This is a Tom Teesdale built Brave Warrior.  The elevated chain stays were still in favor but it was getting close to the end.  I would guess that some of the earlier e-stay bikes had durability issues since this one was obviously reinforced.  This bike is in very good condition and features a pretty full complement of Ritchey components.  I wonder if the parts were switched over from a Ritchey P series bike or maybe Ritchey offered build kits.  The specs are almost identical to a similar vintage Ritchey.

Interesting view from the back side

Pedersen Self Energizing (SE) brake

Lots 'o tubing

Fairly tasteful fade paint

Oodles of noodles
