1995 GT National Team track bike: This appears to be one of the 1995 US National Team bikes welded at GT’s Longmont Colorado custom frame shop, more than likely by Dave Tiemeyer. Beautiful fillet brazing with the GT triple triangle. Mavic was a parts sponsor in 1995 and this one features the Mavic bb, 24" front wheel and headset. The rear wheel is a Suntour Superbe Pro and I will include the matching 700c front wheel (don't want to break up the set). Post is a Campagnolo and the bar, stem, seat and crank are just parts tossed on to make it look like a bike. Kinda tough to measure these. Seat tube is 58cm c-top of the top tube, hypothetical top tube would be about 59cm. $1,450

Schwinn Hurricane: Based on the Schwinn Stingray frame, the Hurricane was an attempt to bridge the gap with the increasingly popular BMX bikes with the fading Schwinn Krate bikes. Shifting is the Shimano Positron system which was a primitive form of index shifting. Cool "bread box" style Schwinn seat and cross-bar handlebars. Looks to be almost completely original and in nice condition. $495 |

1930's CCM Flyte: We've had this one for about 10 years now and realize we'll probably never devote the time to restoring it. Very cool frame and fork design. Read more about them here or check out a neat picture set here. The hub is marked 1937 and is likely original. Pedals are also pretty cool and of the correct style. Fork has good chrome as do the rims. Tires are just stuck on there to roll the bike around and don't even have tubes in them. SOLD |

Haro Dart Formula 1 bike: The bike industry was looking for something to sell kids as they graduated from BMX bikes. Their answer was Formula 1 bikes. The idea was to set us a course in a parking lot using cones and hay bales. The bikes were cool looking 20" wheeled bikes and Shimano made a component group specifically for the bikes. It featured an index shifting drive train, Bio Pace chain ring and a rear roller-style brake. This one has knobby tires but it originally would have had slicks on it. An extra long stem has been added which would just about make it large enough for a small adult to ride $195

1985 Fat Chance: Relatively early Fat Chance bike. Features the Fat bullet cap stays, seat collar anti-rotation tab, press-fit bottom bracket and above bb cable guides. Mostly Suntour SC components with a rear Roller Cam brake. The original fork was replaced with a suspension fork and the original was lost. The Ritchey fork was the best option we had. $795.00 |

1997 Fat Chance Buckshaver: The Buck Shaver was a less expensive Fat Chance. It still had all the attention to detail of the more expensive bikes but used a little less expensive materials and a simpler mono-stay rear end. This is one of the Saratoga, NY made frames. $695.00 |

1984 Specialized Stumpjumper Sport 24" wheel: Most of the early mountain bikes were made in pretty large frames. Often, they were available in 19", 21" and 23" which is huge by today's standards. One way of offering a smaller frame was to use 24" wheels with a 17" frame. These bikes weren't necessarily kids bikes but sized for smaller adults. You can see that this bike uses pretty much identical parts to the same model full-size bike.. $395.00 |

1991 Team Fat Chance: I've not seen any printed information about this model so most of this is based on stories that we have been told plus some semi-educated guesses. This was a Taiwanese built, Canadian assembled bike that was specifically designed for the Canadian market. The low slung frame with the extended seat tube is a style favored by the Canadian market. This may have also been a test to see if their was interest in an imported Fat Chance bike. It would have been a much smaller risk to the Fat Chance reputation to have a bike fail in Canada than in the US. Since they weren't imported into the US, I am guessing that the experiment was deemed a failure. Rumor has it that Chris Chance was never particularly fond of these bikes. $395.00 |

1991 Mountain Goat Escape Goat: The Escape Goat was a TIG welded US made frame. This one has a neat fade paint job with a darker upper half and light lower half See pictures below). Parts consist of mainly Shimano Deore XT stuff with an XC Pro crank and neat Stronglight roller bearing headset. The seat stay wish bone sure looks tiny compared to some of today's oversize frame (possibly due to the frame size?). As with many of the Goats, this one has the ultra-cool brazed-on Goat head badge. Bike is being sold as pictured except NO PEDALS will be included. $850.00 |

1988 Ritchey fillet brazed bike: This bike started out as a Commando but the original owner grew weary of the camo paint and repainted it. By the time we got it, the paint was pretty worn and the decals were gone. One of our new Mountain Goat frames was getting a shiny green powder coat finish so we had this one done at the same time. Components are all New Old Stock or very lightly used. Full Shimano Deore XT 6 speed index component group including the rear U brake. $2,500.00 |

1966 Schwinn "Klunker" 24" wheel bike:This is a 24" wheel 1966 Schwinn that was converted for mountain bike use. The braze-ons and derailleur hanger were added to an original frame. Most of the parts appear to be late 1970's vintage but I am not sure where the fork came from (appears to be more early 1980's?). The paint is pretty unique, red on one side and pink on the other. $550 |

1967 AMF Roadmaster Speed O Motive Amflite 3 speed muscle bike: Cool old muscle bike with extra tall sissy bar, whitewall tires and a three speed. Hub is date coded as 1967 which should be the year of manufacturer for the bike +/-. Seat is nice glitter purple with a white border. Pretty deep scuff where the crank hits on the chain guard. Seat cover is intact but a little loose. Three speed shifter appears to be missing the cover and handle is loose. The non-Schwinn muscle bikes are often pretty rough looking so it is difficult to find nice complete ones in nice condition. $350 |

Mini Krate Schwinn Lemon Peeler 16" rear wheel 12" front: I built this up 10 years ago or so. It was a 16" wheel Stingray frame that I modified to replicate a Krate. Parts used include: front and rear Atom drum brakes, Schwinn 5 speed Stik Shift, original Krate seat shocks added to the mini sissy bar, Schwinn approved rear derailleur, NOS Gripper slick, 20" spring fork. I tried to use parts that were as similar as possible to the original Krate series of bikes. We've changed our focus to collecting mountain bikes so this one is now for sale. It isn't cheap but if you add up the parts used and the effort to make it work, I don't think you could duplicate it any cheaper. It is basically functional but it has never been ridden. If you intend to ride it, plan on putting in a little effort to tune it up. SOLD

1989 Schwinn Aeromount: This bike was built as a geometry test mule for the early 1990's Paramount OS 650 bikes. Since it was just a proof-of-concept, it was built with Tange Aero tubing and Tange Aero fork, even the chain stay bridge is airfoil shaped. The shifters are mounted to the top of the top tube and the hubs were prototype Dura Ace hubs with slotted holes for aero spokes. Seat post is the non-round Shimano Dura Ace AX. The bikes uses 650 wheels front and rear with a 56 tooth big ring to compensate for the smaller wheels. The bike was built up with parts that were laying around the Waterford facility. The bike was very lightly used but it appears as if the paint prep was poor. There is a line of bubbles under the paint under the down tube and across the front of the head tube. Doesn't appear to be corrosion, just bad prep. $1,250+ Shipping
