Each frame can be fully customized for your needs but we have
designed the following as the stock Whiskeytown Racer frame. The cost of

the following features:

 |
Reynolds 725:
heat treated Cro-Moly tubing main frame
The Chrome-molybdenum steel is an industry standard similar to the 753 range of
tubes and uses both seamless and welded raw materials for this range. The heat
treated Cro-Moly is precision mandrel butted and is offered in a wide
range of tube sizes. This material is ideal for TIG welding . 725 is a material
that allows thin gauge, tight tolerance tube, providing maximum weight saving
for competitive use. All frames use 27.2 seat post. Designed
for an 80mm suspension fork.

Wishbone
seat stays by Columbus: A
classic Whiskeytown Racer feature that allow for shorter and stiffer seat stays
while increasing tire clearance for most 2.2" tires. Columbus has been
making quality bicycle tubing since 1919.

Head tube reinforcing collars:
Another classic Mountain Goat Feature that
puts a little extra material in a high-stress area. Head Tube: 1 1/8" to fit modern suspension forks. Geometry is
based on an 80mm travel fork.

Disc Brake Mounts:
are standard while "V" brake mounts are a no cost option. Salsa dropouts will be
used with either option. If you would prefer to have both types of mounts,
cost is an additional $75. Dropouts will be rated for 6" rotors. If
you were wanting to run 8" rotors, please let us know and we will add an
additional frame brace.

Standard finishes: will be a Team Green
(RAL6018), Team Orange (RAL2004), Dirt Brown (RAL8007) or Night Blue (RAL5022) powder coat. Since
monitors will render colors differently, go to your local paint shop and ask to
see the RAL numbers listed with each color. Other colors are available on
a special order basis (please provide RAL #). We also have the
ability to replicate the old school Mountain Goat paint schemes through Russ
Pickett who originally painted the frames. These are individual paint jobs
and will be quoted per job but figure between $250 and $850 depending on style.

Decals:
Two decal sets are available for your Whiskeytown Racer. The first is
white lettering with a black outline that looks great on the lighter colored
frames. The second set is black lettering with a gold outline that
looks nice on the darker colors. Click on the image to the left for a
better view. When ordering you frame, let us know which color
decals you prefer.
